ALTRAMODA IS NOW A CERTIFIED B CORPORATION™

UPDATE APRIL 2025:

On the eve of Easter, we received a special gift: ALTRAMODA is officially a Certified B Corporation™ .
An acknowledgement that is not just a symbol, but a pact. A concrete commitment. An act of love towards the Earth and towards all the lives that inhabit it.

What does it mean to be a B Corp?

Becoming a B Corp is about more than just getting certified. It’s about joining a global movement that uses business as a force for good to regenerate, include, and empower .
It means believing in an economy where profit serves the common good, not the other way around.

To obtain this certification, starting in May 2024, we have undertaken a rigorous independent evaluation process that has measured our impact on five fundamental pillars:

• 🌍 Environment : From the type of fabrics chosen to the production practices, each of our actions aims to reduce the ecological footprint and protect natural resources.

• 🤝 Community : we promote local supply chains, fair ethical relationships and positive impact in the territories in which we operate.

• 👩💼 People : we believe in dignified work, in caring for relationships and in valuing every talent.

• 🧭 Governance : We have amended our corporate charter to include a legal commitment to generating shared value.

• 🎯 Long-term vision : we act today to build tomorrow. Our decisions are inspired by coherence, courage and responsibility.

JUNE 2024: To make our commitment even more transparent and verifiable, ALTRAMODA has become a Benefit Corporation.

This means that it intends to pursue multiple goals of common benefit and operate in a responsible, sustainable and transparent manner towards people, the territory, the environment and other stakeholders.

Starting in 2024, ALTRAMODA will annually prepare a report on the pursuit of the common benefit, attached to the budget, which includes the information required by law for such report. The report is made public through the company's website and in any other form that the Impact Manager deems useful for the purposes of maximizing transparency.
The evaluation of the impact generated by the pursuit of the common benefit goals will be carried out by the company on the basis of the international external evaluation standard B Impact Assessment (BIA).

But we still have another step to take, becoming a B-CORP and we are working on it.
