Karinù is a small and young Italian brand, born just once the creators, Karen and Federico, discovered pima cotton. The incredible feeling of softness of this natural fiber won them over and so they decided to use it to create a very delicate and soft clothing for babies and children.
Pima cotton is characterized by its extra long fiber which gives it remarkable properties of uniformity and resistance. It is the softest and most durable cotton quality in the world.
Unlike conventional cotton, the more pima cotton is washed, the more it softens, does not shrink and does not harden while maintaining its precious qualities over time.
The pima cotton used for the Karinù collection is GOTS certified and comes from fair trade. The cotton producer is Bergman Rivera, the first in all of Latin America to obtain the G.O.T.S. from production to clothing.
