King Louie focuses on sustainability by making items that last a long time by studying the right fit and quality of fabrics. Mostly certified fabrics are used, and the brand has also signed the Amsterdam Green Deal Circular Textile in 2021, a fashion alliance to produce fully circular clothing.
In the production chain, the company uses long-term partnerships with manufacturers in Turkey (52 percent) and China (48 percent), offering full transparency about who and where King Louie works with.
The brand collaborates with the Fair Wear Foundation and carries out Living Wage projects regarding respect for fair working conditions, adequate wages, and safe workplaces.
Even in the transportation of goods King Louie makes its own by trying to limit environmental impact as much as possible. For example, they have a "no air freight policy." This means that 99% of the time garments are transported by ship, train or truck.
