Steam distilled from the Nutmeg seeds. It is clear and has a rich, spicy, sweet, woody scent - similar to the cooking spice, but richer and more fragrant. Applied topically it helps with rheumatic pain and can be used as first aid for toothache. It is helpful against fainting, fatigue and stress. It is very invigorating, stimulating, actives our thoughts and some also claim that it gives us very vivid dreams. To ease childbirth people used to dilute it in almond oil (5 drops per 25 ml of oil) and added 5 drops of sage oil to this mixture for massaging the maternity belly every day for 3 weeks before labor. It also eases easier to sports injuries such as sprains and muscle tension or muscle fatigue.
