Fer à Cheval

Savonnerie Fer à Cheval was born in 1856. The saponification process of the traditional MARSEILLE SOAP takes place in ancestral cauldrons: it takes nearly 10 days to prepare the soap, cooked in the cauldron according to the Marseille process. This ancestral know-how passed down by master soap makers through the generations has reached the present day.

Fer à Cheval is one of the founders of the UPSM (Union des Professionnels du Savon de Marseille), which fights for the certification of authentic Marseille soap.

This logo guarantees a soap made:

-exclusively from vegetable oils, without chemical additives, without preservatives, without perfume.
