The ONDE buckle is designed in golden proportions and made in brass microfusion, a lost wax casting process that allows the creation of complex and detailed metal components with high precision, with an excellent surface finish, as per the tradition of Vicenza jewellery. 

Our electrochemical galvanic deposition coats the buckle with a layer of palladium to improve its properties, such as corrosion resistance, hardness and aesthetic appearance, further enhanced by a nuance obtained by hand-removing a thin layer of black gold.

Vegetable-tanned leather is a craft tradition that a few tanneries, nestled amidst the incomparable beauty of the Tuscan landscape, have been handing down for over 200 years, using ancient recipes and the most advanced technology. It is in large wooden drums that the leather is gradually transformed into a durable material that defies the years. This prodigious process, fully respectful of the environment and humanity, is based on the use of tannins , natural extracts derived from chestnut and Argentine quebracho trees. The complex vegetable-tanning process creates a product with unique characteristics, one that absorbs the traces of our experiences, revealing grain, wrinkles, and scratches, transforming even the smallest imperfections into preciousness , and personalizing itself with time and use .
