The beeskin films are handmade in Berlin, in a small company founded by Christina Sauer, a woman aware of the enormous damage caused by plastic and microplastic pollution, and aware that on average each family could save up to 100 meters of plastic year. So let's start using less plastic - for nature, for the Earth and for our children and grandchildren!
beeskin film based on beeswax is produced exclusively with organic cotton (GOTS certified), beeswax (100% without pollutants and pesticides), natural resin and jojoba oil (organic). These films are therefore 100% biodegradable. Packaging with beeswax is not a new invention, but it has only been forgotten, up until the last century both in Europe and in America, there is evidence of this housewife practice.
beeskin films protect food from air and moisture and, like the peel of fruit and vegetables, allow food to breathe. The organic and unprocessed ingredients used in beeskin films have a natural antibiotic, antiviral and antifungal effect: they keep food fresh for longer.
Carefully treated beeskin films will be reusable up to 1 year.
