ECONYL® is the regenerated nylon thread created from fishing nets abandoned in the oceans or from aquaculture, landfill waste, fabric scraps and carpets destined to be thrown away. In this way, tons of waste are given new life and a textile fiber with characteristics identical to virgin nylon is obtained, therefore perfect for creating items such as swimwear or sportswear. ECONYL® can be regenerated and remodeled indefinitely, thus allowing you to create new products without using new resources and above all to reduce its impact on global warming potential by 80% compared to the common nylon produced from petroleum. For this reason, ECONYL® is an excellent solution for enhancing waste and reducing the problem of climate change.

For every 10,000 tons of ECONYL® raw material, 70,000 barrels of crude oil can be saved and 57,100 tons of CO2 eq emissions can be avoided.
