The pure fine alpaca is almost unmatched in terms of softness, thermal insulation capacity and lightness. Alpaca fiber contains almost no lanolin, which makes it particularly suitable for allergy sufferers.

Made in Peru

Only COLD washing and NO spin-dry! Machine washable in cool wool cycle.

Apu Kuntur, since its foundation in 1989, has been synonymous with the highest quality and sustainable production. They manufacture at their own factory in Cusco, Peru and transform the highest quality natural Peruvian fibers, such as fine alpaca wool or organically grown Pima cotton, into textile masterpieces you will love.

They produce according to fair trade guidelines and with social responsibility towards workers. Regarding the alpacas they are shorn every year in a gentle way that does not harm the animals. Alpacas graze in Peru at such heights where other agriculture is hardly possible. They are herbivores that simply tear up the grass without damaging the roots and the soil. This creates the basis for preserving the Inca heritage.
