People Wear Organic is a German company consisting of a team of 13 women, some of whom are mothers. Each of them acts out of conviction: many of them have consciously turned their backs on conventional textile production to make their own contribution to the world of tomorrow.

During the entire production process, from the raw fibre to the finished natural fabric, independent experts regularly verify compliance with strict ecological and social standards in all companies involved.

People Wear Organic's organic cotton is harvested exclusively via a transparent textile supply chain and is mainly sourced from India and Egypt, from partner companies, which also manufacture the finished garment.

The cooperative in India was founded in 2004 with the aim of achieving ecologically responsible cultivation methods in the cotton sector and at the same time improving the working and living conditions of small and medium-sized cotton producers.

In Egypt they have an absolute expert in the field of sustainable cultivation methods at their side: the cultural initiative SEKEM has been promoting the cultivation of organic cotton and the conversion from conventional to biodynamic agriculture for almost 40 years.
